Your new hire’s first week

A plan for the five days after the workshop: one small job a day, so the habit holds when the busy week returns.

The workshop ends with one working workflow for each person. The first week back decides whether it stays. This plan gives each day one small job, so the habit forms before the busy week returns.

Sample data: the minutes planned for each day. Replace them with your team’s own plan.

Monday: run it again

Run the workflow you built in the workshop on a real job from this week. Write down one thing you changed by hand.

Tuesday: fix the brief

Add the thing you changed on Monday to the brief, so the next draft gets it right. Save the new version.

Wednesday: try a second job

Pick a second weekly job and write a brief for it with the one-page brief template.

Thursday: show a colleague

Show one person the workflow, then let them run it once on their own work.

Friday: keep a list

Write down three jobs the assistant could take on next week. Keep the list where the whole team can see it.
